Terms of Use

MileSync is an Android app developed and published by an individual developer operating under the name Samaura Tech Labs ("I", "me"). By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. The app
MileSync is an offline app for tracking vehicles, fuel, expenses, service history, documents, and reminders. Your data is stored on your device. There is no server and no account. See the Privacy Policy.
2. Licence
You may use MileSync for your own personal or business record-keeping. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or resell the app, except where the law allows it.
3. Your responsibilities
- Enter accurate information. Calculations such as mileage and running costs are only as good as the data you provide.
- Keep your own backups. All data lives on your device, so use the export feature. I cannot recover data lost to a device reset, loss, damage, or uninstall.
- Use the app lawfully.
4. Purchases (MileSync Pro)
- MileSync Pro is available as an auto-renewing monthly or annual subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. It unlocks features such as unlimited vehicles, advanced analytics, report export, backup and restore, and removes ads.
- All payments are processed by Google Play Billing, in your local currency.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in Google Play → Subscriptions.
- Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy. I do not process payments and generally cannot issue refunds directly — contact Google Play for billing problems.
- A lifetime purchase covers the supported lifetime of the app; it does not guarantee specific future features.
5. Ads
Free users may see ads served by Google AdMob. Subscribing to MileSync Pro removes them.
6. Ownership
The MileSync name, design, and software belong to me. The records you create belong to you — I claim no ownership of your data.
7. Third-party services
The app relies on Google Firebase, Google AdMob, RevenueCat, and Google Play. Their own terms and privacy policies apply, and I am not responsible for their availability or conduct.
8. No warranty
MileSync is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. I do not guarantee that it will be error-free or that reminders, calculations, or stored data will always be accurate or preserved. Do not rely on the app alone for legally or financially important deadlines such as insurance or document expiry — always verify them independently.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use MileSync. My total liability for any claim will not exceed what you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim, which may be nothing for free users.
10. Ending use
You can stop using MileSync at any time by uninstalling it. I may discontinue the app or any feature at any time.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
12. Changes
These terms may change as the app develops. The "Last updated" date reflects the current version, and continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.
